The project fee covers my time and talent in designing and curating your book—it does not include printing costs. These books are designed to be printed through Blurb. I like the quality of their paper and they have held up over the years despite being manhandled by my kids. I will set up the file for you so that it’s in your cart and ready to purchase.
Details on Printing Fees
For the past five years, Blurb has typically offered steep discounts on its printing fees between late November and the end of the year, ranging from 50% to 30%*. For example, if printed during their 50% seasonal sale, the price of an 11x17 inch 100-page book is $94. The total cost of that same book with no discount is $174.
*The early bird gets the biggest discount with Blurb. They start at 50% and decrease the discount from there as the end of the year draws near.In these digital times, there is no substitute for holding a book in your hands.
